Where We Started
Owner Larry Nevitt has spent more than 30 years in the trade. He started out in a plumbing wholesale warehouse, learned the craft under a well-respected Sedona plumber, and during the housing boom, opened his own showroom in Cottonwood. Then the 2009 recession hit, and he lost it all.
He started over with what he had left, a Toyota Camry and a willingness to work. Larry went back to service plumbing, one call at a time, saved up for a van, and in 2012 he founded Advanced Septic Service. The idea behind it was simple. Almost every rural property in Northern Arizona runs on a septic system, and every one of those systems needs care, both to save the owner from expensive surprises and to protect the drinking water we all share.
What began with a single pump truck has grown into a full fleet and a complete installation and repair team. In 2019, Larry left plumbing for good to focus on the work he cares about most: septic and wastewater.
